Craven, Jaime thought, as Brienne fought to stifle her moans. Can it be? They took my sword hand. Was that all I was, a sword hand? Gods be good, is it true?
No man had ever called him craven. Other things they called him, yes; oathbreaker, liar, murderer. They said he was cruel, treacherous, reckless. But never craven.
I will not cringe for them.

game of thrones meme: seven quotes [7/7] → I am generous. Loyal to those who are loyal to me. I’ve proven I’m no craven. And I am cleverer than most, surely wits count for something. I can even be kind. Kindness is not a habit with us Lannisters, I fear, but I know I have some somewhere.
One of the most interesting things to me about Cersei textually is how much of a misogynist she is. Other than herself, who she views as the equal of Jaime (and thus of a man), and Myrcella, who she views as an extension of herself, Cersei really hates the women around her. She thinks they’re sheep and weaklings and that she, by being the equal of Jaime, is thus better than them.
There are no women like Cersei, there’s only Cersei.
Hated him? I worshipped him. Every girl in the Seven Kingdoms dreamed of him, but he was mine by oath. And when I finally saw him, on our wedding day, in the Sept of Baelor, lean and fierce and black-bearded, it was the happiest moment of my life. Then that night he crawled on top of me, stinking of wine, and did what he did - what little he could do - and whispered in my ear,
“Lyanna.”
Your sister was a corpse and I was a living girl, and he loved her more than me.
Where you been hiding lately, where you been hiding from the news?
Cause we’ve been fighting lately, we’ve been fighting with the wolves.
